The present privacy policy defines the ISS Secretariat General’s practices on protecting personal data that can be collected on its website.

Personal data collection on the Website

Personal data from users are collected when the user fills the « Contact-Us » form, the form that can be used to access the « Download Center » section, and for any use by him of the Web site services.

Under no circumstances, data collected on the internet web site iss-ssi.org, will be transferred to a third party by ISS Secretariat General for commercial purposes.

ISS Secretariat General will share as needed information with ISS members and affiliates helping ISS Secretariat General in its mission.

They will have access to the following data:
Full name, Contact information, other information willingly provided by the user.

Data transfers are used for:
non-profit humanitiarian ends.

Data transfer outside European Union

Collected data can be transferred to ISS network members or subcontractors outside European Union, in particular the following recipients:

    Organisations working with ISS as to allow the ISS Secretariat General to help a user in their request.
    Forwarding information relative to a user’s request to a national ISS team able to help them.

These recipients will have access to the following data:
Last name, First name, message and other relevant information provided by the user to ISS Secretariat General.

Transfer of these data to recipients outside of European Union is used for:

    Assisting ISS Members and affiliates in helping the user providing said information.

Personal data retention duration

Personal data are kept by ISS Secretariat General for a period of 3 years after user unsubscribing.

User rights regarding its personal data

According to regulation (UE) 2016/679 from European Parliament and 27 April 2016 counsel, the user has an information, access, rectification, cancellation, limitation, and portability right on its personal data.

The user also has the right to object processing of its personal data if there is a legitimate reason.
